Setting idle mixture screws for best performance?
I am trying to tweak a stage 1 35 for optimal performance and get rid of any hesitation off idle. I searched this, and have only been able to find that a stock motor runs best at 1.5-2.5 turns out but no info on how to find that perfect sweet spot. Will these settings change after mods, and do you just play with it till you think you got it right? Or is there another way to fine tune?

Re: Setting idle mixture screws for best performance?
Using your tach adjust each mixture screw until you find the highest rpm for each one. Reset your idle speed once you find this. I can run my idle down, but find that if I set it at 1100-1200 rpms the throttle response is better than if set at 750-800 rpms. Settings will change with mods.
