GDSD owners please read
I am considering designing a lever of some sort that mounts by the front of the engine to actuate the quick trim. I need to know first if there is a demand for this before I spend time and money designing one. I will try to keep it simple, ( I know thats how yall like things LOL) and low cost as possible. Please chime in and let me know if this is something you would be interested in.
Thanks, Rod

Re: GDSD owners please read
what would be slick if you could build a mounting bracket with a 12 volt linear actuator(only need 4-6" stroke) to go in place of the manual trim knob and install a toggle switch near handle to operate.
I know GDSD are balanced drive/dont need trim bla bla bla but it would still be kinda cool to have trim. linear actuators are cheap -- 100-150.00

Re: GDSD owners please read
thought about that when i had one, but theres not enough clearance for the actuator.best thing to would be to buy a cmc or panther universal trim .

Re: GDSD owners please read
Sorry Rod! It really is pretty easy to reach back and drop it. Im sure it was a good idea but theres really not much to the motors. Pretty simple. But mine isn't a huntdeck so....
Considering getting one for my next rig. Keeping my Prodrive too though. I'm greedy like that. Lol.
Mount them both oh the back of the boat. Have the first Dual Brand Dual Motors therfore you have 1.5 FPR and instant reverse best of all worlds
