 Fuel tank to bow
Ok i ordered a new motor (23 Dixie) and was just going to leave a 3 gallon can in the back but for long floundering trips I don't want to worry with bringing another tank for reserve so I'm going ahead with a 6 gallon. I will be looking at about 10'-12' of fuel line total to get it under my from deck. I did a search and saw some people adding larger lines, some smaller. If it comes down to having to have an inline fuel pump so be it but I have to try it without first to see if its necessary. What size line is my best bet for my motor pulling fuel from that far. Any thoughts/advice are much appreciated.

 Fuel tank to bow
Not sure what the 23's require, but my 36 prodrive owners manual recommends 1/4". That's what I have used for several years.

 Re: Fuel tank to bow
Thanks for the responses fellas. I will see what it recommends when it gets here i reckon. But it sounds like the most votes are for 1/4". I would think a larger line would create less restriction and help it flow more easily, but then again thats why I asked the question.
Thanks again
