I ran Hyperdrives for five years. I am on my second year with a Prodrive. I will never go back to not having full power reverse. The 36 HP stock PD runs 1 to 2 mph faster than my stock 35 Hyperdrive ran on the same hull. And, as guys are saying on here, the PD drives more like an outboard than does the MB...can't speak about the other brands out there.

The Prodrive is solidly built and the customer service support from the factory is excellent. You should pm cutt down on here. Even though he is from East Tennessee I am sure you boys could meet up somewhere in the middle if you want stick time on a PD. I lived in Memphis for 12 years and what you guys consider a long drive over there (meeting in the middle of Tennessee) is a walk in the park by our western US standards.

Do yourself a favor and try the PD as well as the Gatortail.

aight den. I got a hook up for the GTRs, demo in the next week of so, cool thing is that he's where i hunt nearby, so I'll get a demo in the actual hot zone. The PD will be a bit more of a challenge to demo

I would never own one becuz I could never get past the retarded lookin' thingmajig on the tiller handle among other reasons, but I got a cousin that owns the 35 Mudfuddy going on about 5 years now. He has two boys a sophmore and senior in highschool, plus my cuz is somewhat let's say destructive, so he and the 2 boys are at their pinnacle of destructiveness and they haven't had issues with it. Yet. They just put a mikuni with dual pipes, so maybe they'll see about that.
