Finished (Older) Male Lab free to good home
I hate to have to do this but.... I am having to try and find a good hunting home for my 8 yr. old duck dog. He has been the best dog I ever owned and will ever own, however his houdini lifestyle is becoming more than I can deal with and I am going to be relocating soon for work and don't want to invest in new kennels at my new house. When I say "Houdini", I am referring to the fact that this dude will climb a greased brick wall to try and get out of a kennell and will dig to china if left unattended in the yard. However, he is the most laid back lazy dog when inside. He is 100% housebroken and is great with children. I travel too much for work and with our house being for sale, I can't keep him inside. So he has been outside in his kennel and climbs the fence and is tearing up his paws and I am scared he is going to hurt himself. He was neutered last year to prevent any health problems since he is getting up there in age. He looks and has the drive of a 2 yr. old and doesn't have the first grey hair on him. He still has some good years ahead of him in the duck blind. He has his "Hunter Retriever" title through UKC and could probably smash almost any finished test right now. He has hunted texas, louisiana, and arkansas and seen almost every scenario. I am going to be very particular in selecting him a home (must live inside, must hunt, and I get an invite to hunt with him once a year)! Please message or call me if interested 979-236-5464
