I sent my boat back to Uncle J a while back to have him build me a bowfishing rack. All I can say is thanks! It turned out awesome. I've been having it back from him for a few weeks, but just got to start working on it today. It's not finished yet, but it's damn close. Pictures to follow soon.

Conduit mounted. Lights mounted. All I have left to do is wire everything together.

Nice looking rig!

What size genny are you using to push those lights? How many watts are they?

Moving into the new house took priority over hooking to the light rack. It was smarter for my well being to get my pregnant wife comfy in her new house before I started on my light rack.

It's a 3000w genny. And I'm running a mix of 225 watt and 150 watt bulbs.

No clue on the weight. 2 people can easily remove the light rack. I can move it around myself, but the size is too awkward to take it on and off by myself.

This idea was in the works prior to Terry Getting given a boat by GT. In fact, it was 1.5 years ago. That is why when we built Scotts boat, we put the accessory holes. And as far as measurements, they were given to me at my house and I wrote them on one of my kids old puzzle boxes in my shed.

Actually, this was discussed when he built my rig early last year. I didn't get it built at the same time because I wasn't sure if I wanted just a light rack, or if I wanted a full deck with a trolling motor.

Finished the lights up today. 14 lights total. A mix of 225 ultra and 150 watt bulbs. Now all I need is a chance to go try it out.

Tried it out tonight with the new genny and the new bulbs. The conditions were crap and we only shot 1 catfish but the lights and new genny worked great. I'm running 14 harbor freight lights loaded with GE 225 Ultra bulbs.
