Post weld up crank case cover
Had anybody successfully welded one up. Mine is cracked due to bolts rattling out. Can I tig weld this up? Only thing I'm worried about it getting mating surfaces perfect so it doesn't leak. Any input would be nice. Also of anybody has one laying around that its in good shape let me know I'll buy it .

The problem your going to have with TIG welding it is that it will not be perfectly flat/ the piece will warp ever so slightly. I've done the same thing with other small engines with mixed results, the key being to supplement your gasket with a quality RTV sealant. Make sure either you or whoever you choose to touch that electrode to your gear knows what they are doing.
