Apparently AGFC is proposing that mud motors on WMA land be limited to 36HP this year. It was proposed last week, not a rule yet. How the hell they going to enforce that anyway? Green jeans going to have a dyno sitting at the ramp?

I don't know why there worried about mud motors when there AR so many fake tohotsu mega's running around doing 45 mph plus .when most mud motors are only doing 29 mph with a hunting load .besides what does it take 40 hp for a mud motor to equal 25 with an outboard . I hope bough meta does this also.

Yes, I don't understand it at all either. If they want to put a horsepower restriction in place then do it for all motors. I don't see how they could enforce this anyhow...no way to prove or disprove a motor has a certain horsepower other than what's stamped on the original motor

They're placing the rule so that you can legally run the big block surface drives. They're not making it to say that you cant run modded engines.

That doesn't look to me like they are making a rule to allow folks to run the big blocks on the Current WMA's with HP restrictions. The way I am reading it, is that all WMA's will limit mudmotor use to 36hp and less. Plenty of WMA's are without a HP restriction now, this makes it seem like mudmotors are subject to a hp limit that others aren't.

Instead of Hp limits on WMA,what if they went to a prop pitch limit.Lets say 12 pitch.That would slow them Mega 25 down.

And that you can only wear blue socks...except on weekends. Weekends require that you wear red socks only. Then there's the question of can you wear blue under red?

Right now they are restricted to 25. This is an UPGRADE to allow big block surface drives. Jesus, and I don't even live or hunt AR.

if they will let 36 mm's on bayou meto thats a good thing hope that IS for ALL ar wma's!!! it would be a good thing for hunters so doubt this happens.

Why is this getting blown out of proportion? If the hp limit is going to be 36 then it shouldn't hurt anyone. They dont know what mods you have to make extra power. I don't think Mr. Green jeans is going to tear down your motor to see if you have head work and a cam shaft.
