The wife has been been much more accepting of the mud boat and going riding since the makeover and new power. Stopped to get gas on the way home from the lake today though and a phat tricked out Malibu SKI BOAT pulled up next us... That bastard undid every bit of the progress I've made with the wife. She's now back to the "you have a redneck boat"

Lol, been there too. My wife and 2 daughters call mine "the camo boat". It's not exactly the status symbol they want, and any trips to the river or sand bar in it are not posted on Facebook, lol!

Had a girl @ the river yesterday comment when we pulled up to the sandbar..."why did they come up here in that swamp boat?". My neighbour was already there & in the water & replied "cause he don't have room to open the 250 up on his other boat in this little river."
If she only new what these lil swamp boats will do!

She likes it but she likes the big boats too. I told her to look at the guys that keep staring at us... Told her I'd bet money that the majority wished they had one. I'm happy as a lark. Screw a big boat. Although my broke neighbor has a taylor jet that I have my eye on.

Guess I'm lucky, mine loves to ride in the back water sloughs and rivers. As long as she can catch some sun she is happy.

I can't get in and out of a gas station in less than 30 minutes because every dude there wants to play 100 questions with me. Never fails, I always hear the old, "Can this thing do the stuff that Troy does on Swamp People?!" "Oh like jump a "levee" when there's a clear path thru right next to him? Yep, it'll do that!"

30 mins??!!!! Consider yourself lucky, think about how long those of us with good motors get hemmed up everywhere.

My wife is the same way, she won't even ride in the "duck boat". I have a 20ft Rinker I take the family out in. Dont get me wrong, it is a nice boat but gives me no where near the enjoyment the duck boat does. I've been more excited about the skiff Peter Willet is building me than any damn ski boat!

i was riding in a open canal with high lillies on both side. When a Skeeter pull along side of me and gave me go ahead signal I gave it right back. Hung a hard right threw the lillies on the other side of the curve I was ahead of him and he gave me a thumbs up in return. Made my day!!!!

Went to the camp the other weekend girlfriend requested we take the go devil over the bass boat. her statement was she rather go frogging and swamp riding than fishing and laying out. I think I'll keep her around
