Re: Rio steel shot I shot one for a few hunts season before last and it seriously amazed me at how smooth it was, and how much recoil the double kickoff took. It shouldered well for me, and I noticed a increase in kills when shooting it over my Remington.

Re: Rio steel shot I shot some rios for teal season they worked fine but then again no shots were over 25 yds. I did not use any for regular season but some friends did and I got mixed reviews on them.

Re: Rio steel shot I wish I could find one around here. Nobody carries them around here it seems. I checked gander, academy, as even a little gun shop on 155. I've gotta bring my buddies A5 to a gun shop near me tomorrow, I haven't checked them out yet, Im gonna see if they have one when I do.

Re: Rio steel shot Terry why you prefer 1 1/4 ounce do you see a difference between 1 1/8 ounce as opposed to 1 1/4 ounce in the field, i've shot both and can't really tell i 've made far shots, close shots, you name it. I picked me up a case of 1 1/8 ounce #3's from keith, he has plenty. Pallet of them
