I've heard that before Owen but have never seen any every. I know they are below the spillway just never seen on the lake in my 40 yrs.

If they are below the spillway they are above. They dont mind a little land travel and dont get that big by being dumb. I never see those big ones here on the lake even frogging. But they get caught every year.

They caught that about 5 miles up river from my farm. We swim in the little river all the time. Scare the crap out of me too.

I hate putting my dog in the water this time of year. We saw one last weekend on the Neches, dont see them that frequently but going into our teal spot at 3:00 am there it was!

If the water is deep enough the dog has to swim or there is alot of grassy cover, I leave him at home this time of year.

Those sure are some cute lil gators yal are killin in Arkansaw....haha na just jokin here are a few of the big boys killed in south mississippi, I have a bunch more pics of 12's and 11's countless 10'-8's.

My buddy from Jonesboro dove for mussel shells in the some of the above mentioned lakes. He has some stories about crawling along the bottom picking shells and come across a gator lane in the seaweed with a giant gator watching him. Nice gators!
