 Question about GTR clutch cover
My brother has a GTR with marsh mellow exhaust, the plastic clutch cover has melted. I believe I saw pics on this site of some metal clutch covers, who makes these and where can he get one?

Re: Question about GTR clutch cover
Does it have the heat shield on it!! If it does no reason it should melt it!! If yes then it's not the mm it's him letting the disc slip when reversing

Re: Question about GTR clutch cover
Yeah I understand that, but marsh mellows website is down and I am looking where to obtain either heat shield or metal clutch cover. I dont know anything about GTR's, hence my asking where to get one..

Re: Question about GTR clutch cover
Even with a alum. Clutch cover still not good with out a shield. If it's one thing you don't want is extra heat in your housing.

Re: Question about GTR clutch cover
Contact setx for an aluminum cover and marshmellow for a heat shield.

Re: Question about GTR clutch cover
I'm out of clutch covers right now, they take the place of heat shields and everything else so you can run any exhaust you want. But like terry said when you engage reverse you need to squeeze it all the way cause if not you will allow slipage and cause alot of friction and heat. On the other hand if you don't have a heat shield the bottom of the marshmellow gets extremely hot and will eventually warp the plastic cover.
