 Preventing Rust
Was wondering if there is a product I could use on my MB to better prevent rust. I use it in saltwater alot, so I know its inevitable. After each use, I spray it thoroughly with a StarBright salt remover, let it soak then rinse. Is there anything I could spray on the motor to prevent rusting while it sits??
thanks

 Re: Preventing Rust
Paint the motor and then coat w/ Corrosion X before you go out and after you rinse it.

 Re: Preventing Rust
I use Corrosion-X and Boeshield. Soak the crap out of the electrical connections and make sure it runs in them, especially the main plug near the starter.
Like deadbird said. Wash, dry, apply....wash, dry, apply.... Always keep a coat on everything, always apply a new coat after a wash. Marine engines they are NOT!
