 valve lash adjustment cdi 35
looking to adjust my valve lash cant seem to find anything other than questions about it in the search anyone know who has ever posted a video on this or can help me narrow the search... ive noticed the search function is pretty vague. when you try and get a lil more specific it says no results.
any help would be appreciated.

Re: valve lash adjustment cdi 35
Couple different ways to do it. I go to 1/4" past tdc on compression stroke & set both valves at .005, then do same on other cylinder. Do it with engine cold.

DO you know what top dead center is, cause if not i would suggest taking it somewhere, setting lash wrong can have some bad consiquences.

Re: valve lash adjustment cdi 35
Cody's way to set valves is much more easy and less chances of messing anything up in the cylinder or breaking off a piece of wood in there or whatever other horror stories people have.

Re: valve lash adjustment cdi 35
good advice on the lash setting tiller. the bump on the intake side can be felt by holding the intake side push rod and u can still do it ur way. that bump can also cause a inaccurate compression reading if ur not spinning the engine fast enough. some builders that use a bump in the cam for starting ck the compression by spinning the motor backwards. make sense
