Why are you comparing Go-Devil and Gator Tail?

those are the two motors i am considering purchasing. I havent had much experience with anything except go devil boats.

As nasty said, pick you a motor and go with their hull if you are not wanting a custom build. If you are thinking of going custom then you already have one post from a guy that builds some great boats & has excellent c/s.
