Post Texas Opener
Lets see the pictures!

Opening day was solid, Sunday was slower with only the woodies to show.

The red deer was killed on my West Texas deer lease Saturday.

Had to work on the opener. Had a 3 man limit on sunday.

Monday tried a place on my old dove lease. Real bad fog and no wind. Surprised to see green already.

Definately surprised when I unzipped em.

Cook em, it won't hurt you.

Got our 2 man limit both days. Didn't take a pic on Saturday because we were about dead by the end of the hunt from dealing with low water and mud. Much easier hunt Sunday. Over all not many birds in the air.

I did horrible this weekend. Mainly because of being in a bad spot, and even more because of fog. We only hunted one morning, and made an evening hunt the next. Killed a limit in woodies on the evening. All in all, I still have yet to see many big birds at all. Think Im gonna sit the season out until it gets colder and more ducks are down.

I only found a few places holding good numbers of birds. I would rather get out there early and setup shop and get a good nights sleep then get up at 1:30 in the morning and hardly get any sleep. I didnt wake up until 5:45am
