That was from blind. Had a few ducks land in that ditch. Most were headed offshore. This pick was blind last Sunday

Ok, I was thinking it could have been like the bird we came across a couple years ago, the back of the bird looked identical to yours, but it was an meganser/widgeon mix according to the biologist.

Friend of mine says its a hen white winged scoter. Are these rare? Thing is a lil bigger than a bull canvasback
