Update that there is no update.

I go pick up my motor on Thursday from GT. He swears it will be done Thursday. Only time will tell. Has an outside shop and forecast not looking good this week. And yes he builds them on the side. He unfortunately for me does do other work. And yes it will be badass, once it's finished. Guess we'll chock it up to long holidays were last week(s).

btw. Casey u have a great looking boat. You get a motor yet?

Not sure what you mean by break formed hull but if it's what I think (sides and bottom all broke out of one sheet of aluminum) that's not the case on my boat. My sides were separate from the bottom. They were hand fitted and welded inside and out. Borel prefers to do them this way. Told me it is stronger and he's had trouble in the past getting the "break formed hulls" with different angles from one side to the other.

You build a nice boat. I was planning to talk to you before I committed but once I met Carl and seen and few of his boats I was sold. I was just ribbing about the MB thing. I like how the majority gets so fired up towards Mud Buddy on here. Makes for good entertainment. I figured you did more than the boats. Best of luck with the boat business.

Weather doesn't look good for it at all wish we could transport it to my garage there is room and out of weather. Good luck

lol.....i should have my motor in a couple weeks and boat soon to follow.....hoping to have it for the mud run.

I put down my deposit.....material is being ordered as we speak. If everything goes as planned and no set backs i should have it in 3-4 weeks, just in time to put it in the water and participate in the mud run......Im going with Pete Willit at wccustoms, we are building an 1840 square chine w hunt deck, custom boxes built into front deck open hull 22" sides tapering to 19" at stern, angled transom on hunt deck like a gt boat. going with a 58ish" beam so hopefully it will be a drier ride than my pd was.

My posts are just filler to keep the thread alive I think there is like 2 pages of posts since the last update that showed any progress...... Question is, will i have my boat before Ryan gets his I cant wait for the mud run, we should have several of the new 25's out there on different sized hulls, we are gonna have to run them empty and loaded to see which size will perform the best.......

We spoke today. He says rain or shine, all night, all day, whatever it takes it will be water ready by Thursday. Paint can come later. But at least it will be ready for a water test. We shall see.

I guess it was a common sense guess that it was locked if lights are off. If there was welding goin on in the dark I would believe she definitely see the bright light.

Transom and bracing was cut out last night. Don't know what plan is for today but I hope it involves sides and transom goin in.

I bet ur about to have a nervous break down.

with the rain that has been coming down....and it hasent even really hit yet. I hope they got to work on it early this morning dodging the showers.....we should have a steady rain turning worse as the day goes on and the same for tomorrow......go string up some tarps so they can work through the deluge of rain!!!!!!!
