How wild is it? My son love running mud but if its too wild i wont bring him.

Not too much mud on the duck run. There are some wild pockets of people but you can make the trip and never seen anyone drinking if you wanted to. It is such a big event (500+ boats) that you will miss most of the action unless you just sit somewhere and watch people go by.

The mud run, which is on Sunday, is in Charleston and I have never been to that but some others on here can help you out.

The mud run is the following Sunday and depends on the tide. It sucked last year but it's still nice to habe a gathering on the water. And it's in Moncks Corner which is about an hour from Packs Landing. The duck run can get wild (boobies, lots of boobies and alcohol) but it never crosses the line of endangering the participants because DNR will be in full force for good reason.

How far are y'all from Atlanta, ga?

From Atlanta to Rimini will be about 4 hours. Atlanta to Moncks Corner(mud run) will be about 4½.

May try to do this if I can get a couple of n1ggers to split some diesel....
