Ice chest with a bubbler works best in aluminum boats during summer.

Ice Chest and O2 System... You will have them jumping out of the cooler in no time!! I usually carry zip lock bags for fillets, but if you start running into heat issues toss some ice in a bag and drop it into the cooler to lower the temps. Temps and Oxygen levels are what effect fish in warmer months. http://www.Pro-O2.com

Fresh water does not have to be added to keep fish alive. Just make sure existing water stays cool and has plenty of oxygen going to it, whether it be an aerator, o2 system or anything else.

 Re: LIVE WELL PICS ANYONE?
As a commercial fisherman I keep all of my fish alive until I get to the processing for better quality fish filets. I run a Sweetwater blower powered by a Honda motor. Noisy but very effective. I can keep thousands of pounds of fish alive with the blower and stones. My fishing pardner runs a Sunleaves hydroponic aerator with a couple small Sunleaves stones. Its a 110 volt set up using a small 12v converter. Real quite and very inexpensive. The kicker is he keeps a huge load of fish alive until processing. I am in the process of setting my boats up to use the Sunleaves hydroponic aerator. I can tell you first hand this system works absolutely perfect. If it will keep several hundred pounds of catfish/paddlefish alive it sure will keep a limit of bass alive. We have taken paddlefish that was stressed out and put in the tank with smallest Sunleaves aerator and two stones and several hours later the pf was fighting mad and buckwild. You can do a Sunleaves setup for about 60 bucks or so. Sunleaves.com

Hell, I use a 2hp Spa blower to run my purge tanks for crawfish and they are very lively when going on the sacking table 24 hours later. Each tank does 500 lbs and is run by one blower.

 Re: LIVE WELL PICS ANYONE?
I have an aluminum box with a hatch on the top and a bilge pump with a hose that sprays the water into the air its wired on a cig lighter plug for my boat, only problem is the temps in summer, the fish won't last long so i would probably do something like the cooler with insulation
