GTB 1754 Extreme r GTB 1846 gator series
What's up guys! Still undecided what to get. What would b the better rig for fishing and hunting? A GTB 1754 Extreme series r a GTB 1846 gator series. Either one I would get a 35 GTR on it. Thanks

I would go with the GatorTail boat for sure no question about it!Size is just your choice but I do like the 54 better than the narrow boats I had!good luck

Where will you be using this rig?
How do you plan to use it? (Duck hunting, fishing, both etc)
What will your normal load consist of?

I like em both. That said, if i sell this boat, I'll get another 1846 just like it. Might try pointed bow next time tho.

I had an 1848 boat and went to a 1754. Really like the 1754 extreme. Like stated, it is more stable and great for moving around the boat. I wanted something a little bigger for the family and I may eventually throw a console in mine.

1754 all the way you will not regret the extra room, remember its only 8". extreme takes up on maneuverability. 46 has room inside but not enough if you fishing in my opinion, get ice chest in there along with other stuff and when yall "up to 3" moving around gets unstable and not comfortable believe me i know. Will never go back to a skinny boat again.

I'm in the same decision as you, thinking bout the 1746or 1846' wish they made a 50, 54 is just too wide for what I do, usually run 2/3 guys light gear, I'm just trying to decide on the hunt deck option, I have a tall transom motor so I don't know?

Re: GTB 1754 Extreme r GTB 1846 gator series
wider hull carries loads better, you really wont regret getting a 54, its a very "comfortable" boat compared to the 46 i think. hunt deck it all the way!
