Gave him a bath after he went on his first swim. Loved the water. Only 6 weeks and 2 days old. Got a question when should he start staying out side in the kennel? Re: My new pup Moose Six weeks old is very young. Small pups will have trouble regulating their temeperature. PLan on crate training him first. Teach him how to live in the house first. Then if you are going to turn him into an outdoor kennel dog, you will have that early experience in hand. It is a good thing to have an older dog know how to behave in the house.

Re: My new pup Moose To help with crate training and "kennel" command, feed him in there. He will learn to know it is a happy place.
