What kind of line are yall losing on the spinners?

I used 200# fast flight but a lot of people use monkey wire or tuff line xp

take the safety slide and stop off and tie a loop knot in the string. Run the line through the hole where the safety slide stop was and loop it over the knock and be done with it.

Old school is to tie the line to the end of the arrow and somebody got there eye poked out by arrow that came back so then the safety slide was marketed and the arrow companies gots to covers their asses...

I still use them on AMS reels but I also tie a bowline long enough to loop past the knock. I think it shoots Better and also makes it easier running the line back through the fish.

That's what I was meaning, not literally tie the line to the arrow. I don't tie a bowline neither, I double the line and tie the loop once and your done. slip it right off on a pass through.

I see now, I didn't realize you said on the slider. i agree, have the knot behind the knock when it hits the water.

Im confused.. I guess I would just have to see pictures of what yall mean with the spinners. I fish with a 909 and a slider... Had no pros yet, and ive yet to shoot through a fish so It works.. I dont see why yall are saying not to use sliders? Is it just because of the ease of taking the arrow off the string if you shoot through a fish?

No slide with a spinning reel keeps you from drawing back without clicking the reel

Because the slide stays in place as the arrow gets drawn. Now when we snap shoot we hardly ever full draw. You have to full draw for that slide to pull the arrow off the bow string

I snap shoot with a slider alot... I think I just figured out how though, because I have had it hang up on me as well.

Just ordered some fast flight for it as well.. hopefully itll be in this week
