CDI vs Non-CDI

 CDI vs Non-CDII am new to mud motors and this may sound like a dumb question but it is a serious one. What does CDI stand for and what is the difference of the CDI and the non-CDI motors? Advantages and disadvantages? Any info will help. Thanks in advance

Re: CDI vs Non-CDI Potted coils, lighter fly wheel, and the wiring holds up better in salt water

Re: CDI vs Non-CDI U can replace the coils w high rev coils.. U r correct.
