so how things going bud? good I hope!

The skull specialist that he was supposed to see in Baton Rouge was out of the country, he will be in the hospital prepping for Lance tomorrow so he will be transported first thing in the morning. He is a little more comprehensive as of 8 o clock tonight. He is starting to understand what happened, but he is also loosing some spinal fluid from his nose area and thats what the doctors were worried about, if it gets to excessive it will be a major problem. His for head and nasal cavity is shattered to pieces so it exposes his brain to fluid, this could cause major brain damage according to the doctors.

He freaked alot of us out to when he starting talking, he was saying, I'm in the water, I'm in the water like he was still conscious when my cousin and all were looking for him and found him about 30 to 40 yards away from the boat burried in the mud under the water, my cousin kicked him and thats how they found him.

well hopefully the doc can getm fixed up so he and yall can start getn well. keep us updated bud

Praying for you guys Jamie. A few yrs ago my dad hit a truck headon while on his motorcycle. The truck got in his lane and he faceplanted the truck hood at 45-50mph. His face was completely crushed, wrists turned to powder, and multiple compound fractures to both legs but they got him put back together. Those doctors can do amazing things.

Read this story yesterday and prayed for your buddy Lance. Found out today that it was the same Lance who used to come change out our turbine meters. Just wanted to let him know that the people in the South Timb Field are praying for him and his family.

Guys, just an update on the situation. His face was still to swollen to perform the surgery, they are thinking that by wednesday of this week they should be able to perform it. He is doing great, the last 2 days have been a complete turn around. They doctors are saying that he is no longer in the critical state and that the fluid is not so big of a worry any more. He is getting back to his joking ways a little. I can't say this enough how much I really thank you all for the prayers sent, it just goes to show that there are great people on this site and in this world to be able to take the time for someone that they don't know and send prayers.

He is going to have a very painful 6 month recovery according to the doctors, but he is a very strong person and I think he will be able to handle it.

I just found this thread, Jamie. I'm glad to see things are taking a turn for the better! It's still very serious, but it could already be a lot worse. Prayers to you and your family for his successful recovery.
