Who makes the toughest set of breathable waders? Had a set of hodgemans last year that were comfortable as hell but I had to patch about 57 holes in them, got wet about 6 times wearing them and threw away at the end of the season. I was really pretty easy on them and still had 2-3 new pinholes in them every time I went out. Anybody had better luck with another brand?

Banded breathables! most comfortable and warmest waders I have ever had on. Had Drake LST before and they were good, they just restrict the hell out of you.

I have 2 pair of Reed Wood Duck waders.
It's the only wader I could find in breathable stockingfoot with a max4 pattern.
I wear my breathable waders out from the inseam rubbing together. I walk the marsh a hell of a lot.

Cabelas makes some for $200 with a lifetime warranty. Buying some this year. Tried some on a few months back and they are comfortable and seem to be pretty tough material too. Watch this review

Bootfoot waders are too clunky and clumsy for my taste.

I'm a fucking marsh ninja with stockingfoot waders and scuba/surfing/wading booties!!!!

(Not to be confused with the wax lake ninja from the "Badass" thread.)

I like the cabelas ones myself....

Teal season is like summer time wet wading for trout .. Shorts and a shirt especially here in the armpit of tx ... I have my one pair of Drake MST I'm a big guy 6'3" 260 and I got the regular and they fit me fine

I'm on my 2nd pair of Cabels and i really like em. Pretty tough but ya do have to be careful. If they do get a hole it's only a 30 min ride to get a new pair.

My hodgeman lace up boot foot breathables have been keeping me dry now for over 5 years....yes ive patched holes but I have to patch holes in my neoprenes too.... .burned cane stubble will go through anything.

I used a pair of the stocking foot zip up Hodgmans all last season. Picked em up at the end of the previous season for 30 bucks. The waders work great but the neoprene wading shoes that i bought to go with them would make my feet go numb and that's even with a size 14. They just don't make them wide enough. Just ordered a set of their zip up guidelite version in MODB with the wadelite EVA boots. Hope they work as well as the stocking foot.

I've got cabelas warrior 2 waders. Never ever will I go back to neoprene. Not sure cabelas still offers the warrior 2 though. I wear my breathables all season long with proper layering, even late season in Kansas.

I only wear my neoprene on cold ass mornings....they are drakes and are shoe gooed just about everywhere...they keep me dry now but had pin hole leaks fr9m day 1......I shoe gooed all the seams and that worked fine.....the hodgeman breathables with the boot that laces up are awesome.....if you can find them.

I have an old pair of lacrosses that have never leaked, busted briars all kinds of stuff, finally getting to there end of days(broken straps and buttons pulled out) and they quit making the sob's, pisses me off to find something good for the company to change it.

Also eye balling the cabelas dry plus breathables

I wear Orvis and have been for over 8 years now.

Ive had good luck so for with my Cabelas...and a good price...got 'em on sale for 150$ clearance.
