All these people who are saying save and pay cash must be nice to be well off if you want a boat and can make responsible payments do it for things under 6k I get a signature loan from the credit union and I can pay it off well within a year I bought a new gt rig last year got a loan at 4% I can say it beats the shit out of not having a new gt rig. Even if you don't bank with credit unions they will be more than happy to help get you a loan they don't make money by not lending money.

ima prolly find a credit union nearby and see if they can help me out tom during the day before i go to work

If I don't have the cash to cover the toys, I ain't buying it. I try not to finance anything that wont pay for itself. Doubt I'd buy a 60k ski boat even if I had the cash for it though honestly...but this thread is about a guy struggling to get a 7k loan for a mudmotor..

I just applied for a boat loan 15 min ago through my credit union. Got approved in less than 5min.
