Post Setting trailer bunks
Is there a trick to setting trailer bunks went pick up ma boat yesterday and it look like its. Nose diving big time. Before I put the boards on the trailer I dropped the boards all the way should the front of the boards be higher than the back

Your boards should be on the same plane as your trailer frame. You have a flat bottom boat right.

All things flat being equal they should be the on same horizontal run.

Yea it's a flat bottom boat. I thought maby cause the motor not on it or many cause the boards don't go far enough forward maby

it looks like your trailer winch is mounted low on the support. may need to raise that and fall the bunks a lil.

Most likely its the way that the axle is set up that is making the back of the trailer be so tall. Are the leaf springs mounted on top of the axle?

I had it up a Lil bit but when I got home I dropped ima mess with it some more the boat should be flat on the boards on the front an back rite now the back of boat is off boards bout 1/4 inch I dropped it cause when he set it on the trailer and I winched it forward we had to pick it up by hand to get it over the roller. Every boat I had came ready to go so I don't know how to set all that stuff

To me, you want the boat to sit flat on the trailer bunks, not raise up the front of the boat on the winch just for the sake of it being level.

That's part of reason I got rid of my old boat I never noticed and the boat hung off trailer bout 6 inches and it made it hook in the back
