His is an F550. I don't know what rear ends they offer in those, but I would bet they're built for power, not speed.

 Re: Tuner
Use web site rollinsmokediesel.com for tuners. Unlocked h&s mini max for 1399. Then if ur in Houma come to my shop for the rest. About 2k including the tuner for a full kit with intake and exhaust on most trucks. We do at least one a month right now.

 Re: Tuner
To answer your question FD if its a standard your clutch may not be grabbing real good hence the high RPMS before it goes. May need to replace clutch and get a beefier clutch, how many miles are on it?

 Re: Tuner
I've been hearing more about s&b lately. How's there product. Is it worth bringing in? They called me for a while, and I kinda blew em off.

 Re: Tuner
I like it, my buddy cares it in his shop, staright forward install and you can put it in in about 30-45 min. Uses factory Ford air filter gauge and also factory MAF sensor. Bolts right in to place and has a nice look with a plexi glass shield over the filter, it buts right up to the factory intake hose coming through the firewall, me personally i think you should pick them up, Dealer cost is great and they can get them to you in a hurry

 Re: Tuner
What tuner who you suggest for a 2011 Dmax? I'm not looking to drag race. I'm looking for fuel econ and I would like to smoke blast some people. I pull a big heavy tri axle trailer with a comm fishing plateboat sitting on it full of water and catfish.

 Re: Tuner
ON the 2011's i'd go H&S minimax, If EFI live had the programming i'd use them but they don't just yet on the newer Dmax's. But if they ever get it corrected i'd go EFI live. The H&S is right under them, very good programming and shift on the fly tuning. You can set it to whatever power level. I have the race tuner but for what you wanna do i would just get the street tuner or you can get the race tuner and use the stock and tow tune to do what you wanna do. To delete the DPF you have to get the race tuner tounlock the DPF programming and then you will be DPF/DEF deleted and enjoy your mileage.
Its very straight forward tuning and a step by step process that is very easy to follow. If you have any questions about it i could help you out.
A friend of mine drives a 2011DMax and we just ordered his H&S minimax with 4" Flo-Pro exhaust and he already had his S&B intake like mine. We are gonna put it on and i'll be able to tell you exactly how the 2011 DMAX reacts to the H&S tuning followed by exhaust and intake

 Re: Tuner
Yeah he bought it all stock put the Spartan 310 tune on it and ran it like that all the time, Kept trying to run me when i had my Built DMax but soon after he split the block. That was like 5months ago and he just got it back a couple weeks ago i guess, sat in the shop till he could figure out a way to pay for it.

 Re: Tuner
I ran DP tuner at first, but the throttle was very touchy to much fuel to early Id assume. these gearhead tunes have a stock pedal feel until you put it to the floor, motor sounds way smoother now too

 Re: Tuner
For you guys that have the chevy lml( 2011 & up) there are some new things coming for us. I have been on the phone many times working on getting my lml set up to be custom tuned and deleted. Kory Willis who does some great EFI live tuning has been workin with H&S performance which will be how the tunes are loaded into your truck. You will no longer have to search for a racer tuner to delete but you will still have to spend the money to do it. There are gonna be different packs of tunes available, 3-5 tunes from what I've been told. I ordered a H&S mini max and 5" turbo back flow pro for my 2012 Dmax, once I get that I still have to wait for the tunes to release in mid August. Then I can purchase the tunes and I'll have about $1850 in the set up. Sounds like some pretty cool stuff kory has came up with. The 5 pack tune with have like a stock hp if you only want to delete and add no power, next tune is like 15hp, then 40hp, 80hp, 100hp and the 185hp tune, which is gonna be wild, defiantly gonna be installing a lift pump and still hope it don't drain the rail.

 Re: Tuner
The mini max is shift on the fly, but only with the lmm, doesn't do it with the lml
