I would like to see a race between our trucks, I had a gmc dmax with EFI tuning with dsp5 and raced lots of trucks and my truck would run a low 13. This truck I drive now don't have the launch like my duramax did but once it's rolling its covering some ground. Pinned a ford lightning down with my dmax, put 2 truck lengths on him and this truck I drive now is really close to the same power

take'em i have 200,059 on my truck. do you think i will break somethin if i beaf it up or do you think it will help it out

Well it would definitely be easy to put the exhaust on lol, that thing has to have about an 18" lift. Depends on how u drive it, truck already looks good lets spend that money on a GTR rig

yeah im savin for a 35. The truck drives good if you like drivin a tank. but i have to fix a leak. when it rains it leaks in side my cab. but I got my ol lady in to gator tails

nothin really. I had a chip in my 96 f-350 and i had to rebuild my tranny so im kinda hesitant to put one in my truck now. do you think if i put one in it would mess it up

I dnt know the condition of your trans now, but if you dnt go and try to race everyone you see every day you'll be fine
But I have been running a chip on my 02 since I bought it 5 years ago, I dnt really thrash my truck but I have no problem standing on it either
These custom 6 position chips have trans tuning built in, much better than edge and all that- for 7.3s

It can get loud outside the truck, not bad at all inside

ok. i want it to scream. I heard a ford the other day when i was at the gas station and son of a gun was loud. and you could hear the turbo whine

O you can hear me come by, 5" straight pipe is pretty loud outside the cab
But you can still hold a conversation inside with windows up

Is yours bolt up or did you have to weld the joints

Gator what gas station were you at when you heard that truck and what color was it? I drive a white lifted F250 with 5" exhaust and intake with a 6" tip and it whistles like a jet taking off. Real nice tone at idle and when i get on it you know i'm coming down the road for sure

It was at the mobile in bridge city. It was a two to tone blue.

Yeah i wouldn't mind a race but it'll prolly never happen. I'm new to the diesel scene but a 4x4 launch with the turbo spooled is awesome. I imagine its torture on the truck though. Bayou boy may have a video of me racing sparten tuned 2012 ford. Last i heard he was still trying to get the burnt rubber smell out his house after left 200 bucks worth of rubber on the road

Muffler shop only charged me $75 to install turbo back exhaust
I didn't have to burn my hands and I was a little gun shy about working on it back then

is there a reducer from the turbo to 5" or can you go 5" straight from the turbo

4" down pipe, then turns to 5" as soon as it's under the truck

Its pretty straight forward Gator, like DM said the down pipe comes down and as soon as it turns to go to the back of the truck there is a flange right there. Unbolt that flange and remove the stock exhaust piece by piece and reinstall new exhaust. Its not bad at all
