Get you a sport h n mod that mofo out to the max. It does great in stumps and in shallow water. That's where it's at.

 Re: help on a motor
The question is what kind of terrain are u putting in and what do u call a load we are using gator tails for crawfishing and commercial fishing. we are hauling any thing between 700 and 1500 pounds of crawfish / fish on step never seen any other motors do this Yet but there's always another day one will pop up.

 Re: help on a motor
Just have to have some thick skin that's all and put up with a little bit of BS every now and then. There isn't anything wrong the guys from La or Tx either by the way

Its a hazing ritual.....newbies with questions that have been discussed for years get it the worse. Use google to search mmt. It will bring up all kinds of info.

 Re: help on a motor
Todd don't waste your time, when he said thought this site might be different, first thing i thought was TROLL! They ain't got nothing better to do over there so they come here trying to stir crap. TX and LA are always at it because we know what the Fuck we are doing when it comes to mud motors, their ain't nobody else to argue with.

 Re: help on a motor
It's not just people from LA or TX, I'm dumb as shit and I'm from SC. I chose PD because of the deal and later found out how much I really liked the full power reverse. You need to test drive different motors and make up your own mind what Progatorgobuddy you like best.

 Re: help on a motor
I've been running mud motors since longtails were the only thing Thar existed and for the most part, whatever people end up buying they will tell you it's the best. Nobody spends a big chunk if change and tells everybody how shitty their motor is. Haha!
