So this will be the second time I have to change my bumper due to owner error. Im thinking of going with aftermarket, like ranch hand, fab 4, or just building my own. Do any of yall have tjese type bumpers? Pros cons?

Dont get a ranch hand there craftsmanship has gone down hill and they wont make anything custom,my brother just got a new bumper ill have to check with him and see what brand it is but it looks really good and he had it customized.

That's the one I built for my work truck. I say build your own if you have any welding/fitting skills and tools. This one is very simple and wasn't really built to look pretty!

Duckhunterf250 built a real good looking back bumper and had a pic of a front bumper that him or his buddy built. Can't remember.

Ranch hand does make a bumper that looks really good on a half ton.. I hate the way most half tons look with big bumpers.. the bumpers are usually just too big, and makes the truck look dumb.. There is one, however, that is pretty proportional and it looks good

there a ton different brands out there, just pick which one you like and i wouldnt go anything less than 3/16-1/4". also pay attention to how it mounts if you plan on putting a winch. some these companies will tie into weak point and with a strong bracket. My buddy bumper was like this and when we put a big load on it it twisted the frame and bumper about 60 degree downward in the front.

I put an ARB on my truck and its strong as hell. Looks good to.

My buddy has one called a ranchhand legend bull nose and it looks great.. not too big and bulky

kaleb, your welding looks better than any welding you will find on any of the cookie cutter bumpers being made. build your own bumper save a pile of cash and it will look better and damn sure be built better.
