 Re: Teal?
I saw quite a few on the river here last weekend. Weekend before that was even better. I habe heard lake bistineau is covered up in them but haven't jad the chance to ho out there and scout. Plus with them draining it hunting spots will probably be pretty limited.

 Re: Teal?
There's lots of birds up here but we getting lows in the low 40 s maybe down in the 30s so they should be moving south. It's been in the 90 s this week. Little over a week before season starts

 Re: Teal?
We have a few, but waiting on this cold front today to help. Normally this time of year we have a good number. Usually shoot limits opening morning and the next, but not this year, shot a few say, and one sunday.

 Re: Teal?
The woodies have shown up on my slough. I rode my four wheeler beside my canal and flushed quite a few woodies this week. One group flushed up and was flying off when a hawk hit one right beside me over the canal. The woodie fell out of the air and upon impact with the water was in the free dive mode. The hawk must have known it was not a good shot because he kept on flying as if he knew the woodie was going to be deep sea diving. That hawk had the woodies on lock down. The canal was full of woodies sitting on logs and floating on the water in the 'frozen' position. I can ride within ten feet of them with the four wheeler and they don't move a feather. This front that is hitting here right now should have them on the move.
