 Slow morning
Went out yesterday to scout few ponds saw a few good groups flyin so figured I'd make a morning hunt. Happen to go out for few drinks last night on way home saw the moon n it looked big not sure if It was the beer but it was bright. I have had a good hunt after a full moon before but not often so figure give it a shot! Fukin didn't see but one Lil group flyin around 730 n one big duck came in. Shitty morning would have thought it would b better. What's y'all thought on huntin a full moon. Y'all think the birds were feedin all night an gonna stay on roost all day? I figured the moon might bring new birds but it surely didn't do that!

 Re: Slow morning
Out this morning and didn't even see one. Got a little rained on, but it sure beat waking up for work. One big duck came in to check us out, but that was it. Talked to some wardens they saying whole state is slim right now. Worst places are PAC wma and the wax.

 Re: Slow morning
Had about 200 birds on my spots last Sunday, ran 32 miles this morning at sunup and didn't see one. I still don't think main push has come down yet.

 Re: Slow morning
don't feel bad guys they ain't made it to Oklahoma yet either. read a report that there are 500k in Kansas and Nebraska area still. hopefully they show up tonight or in morning, moon is bright!. on another note, for those that have killed some , where the ones you killed mature drakes? or young birds ? just wondering cuz the only one we shot was a drake, and I know they migrate first.
