Coffee brewing, tiime for some shooting. Been a Pretty bad teal season for me personally but I'm gonna give it one last shot. Or hopefully 6 last shots.

I did not see jack shit on the lake Thursday, so I decided to make it a family weekend. 4 more weeks and she will hate me for the next 3 months.

Well wasted a day, but better than not going. Brought my home fogger for the skeeters, and it knocks em way the hell down. Fog the marsh around the blind a couple times, and it's usually all good.

I wasn't going either. I got a call about someone hunting my inlaws land yesterday morning shooting the crap out of mottled ducks and woodies so I was going to see if I could run into them.
They had a decent amount flying, not as many as the beginning of the week but we were in the crack and we didn't let any slip by.

We had a good weekend last weekend with that front, other than that it has been slim pickin's scratchin out 2-3 here and there.

We killed 40 something birds overall, but it was nothing like the number of birds down last year... Pretty disappointing after all the hype.

It was alot better last season for us here in florida, in are group where we hunt we were down about 100 birds from what we normaly get from are short season , I don't think we killed 50 60 birds tops.

Got into a few limits last weekend.

Believe it or not but we killed 16 teal with 9 shots. 5 min later killed 2 out of another group and we were done. Wish I had it on film. The looked like blackbirds falling on the water.
