 Awesome Kansas Opener...birds headed south!
Opening weekend in Kansas was awesome! I have never seen that many ducks this early before. We limited out 3 guys in 20 minutes yesterday and today it took around 45 minutes. The birds were decoying so well once we got our limit we just watched them for a while. The best times I have had are in the marsh In the early morning! A cold front came through last night and pushed the majority of the birds south but still a significant amount of birds were left today!
Two day total...1 pintail, three green wing teal, the rest were blue wing teal.
Good luck to the south...they are headed your way!

Re: Awesome Kansas Opener...birds headed south!
We saw a lot of gadwalls this year, never have seen any type of big duck before this year.
Didn't see many woodies past opening day either, think the jake legs did work on em...
