Like I said mega mayhems... we ride a Rob of mud and a bunch of trails no water really

Yeh I've learned a lot wit the brute had it few months n took apart about 15times then bought canam an will never buy anything else. Have a honda but we don't ride it in mud or water jus use for deer huntin good reliable bike

so this thread deff blew up with a bunch of unecessary stuff for this guy, lol.

look man, just call an atv shop by your house tell them what your looking for and they will hook you up and give you there professional opinion.

if you want a long lasting tire that will wear good and you can ride in cut overs, get the itp 589, fats in rear. skinnies in front, and you can run them on your stock rims.

I talked to the shop yesterday and they suggested the silverback x-lites. Anyone every tried these out?

silverback x-lite, mud lite, zilla, swamp lite, mud lite xtr, 589, outlaw mst.

all those tires i just listed all pull about the same.

I'd shy away from the silverback x lites, they are a very cheap made Chinese tire. I'm sure that they are fine, but we had a shipment of those and Roctanes that were nearly all defective. The sidewalls were so thin that air would seep through the sides. They are pretty heavy too

I put a set of those wollybuggers on my 300EX.... turned it into a different trail machine!

Ha that's weird I did the exact same thing.. Got tired of getting stuck in trails so I put a set of 26s on it and it was a beast

Proper maintenance and preventions keep them going. Now im not saying there wont be more things you have to do to prevent this, and more maintanence WILL be involved.. It also doesn't make its chance of lasting any better when riding like I do, but to say its a ticking time bomb is a bit dumb.

I just use my boat if there is more than a few inches of water....

If everything is sealed then u have no worries about riding in water. I had 200hrs on my canam an prob 150 of them were spent in the water. Jus have to check few things from time to time but never had any problems bc it was done right
