 Re: Kent shells!!
I agree, had allot of problems with them. For low cost duck shells check out Federal Speed shock. If you don't mind spending the money... Look at heavy metal. Heavy metal is deadly but freakin expensive.

 Re: Kent shells!!
I had quite a few mid-fires. In most cases it was a incomplete ignition. You could hear the difference in power between shells. Overall poor performance. The first time it happened I thought it was an oddity but it continued over time. I gave up on them

 Re: Kent shells!!
I've never had an issue with Kent's. Ran through many cases of them over the years,of those I had 1 hull that had a bad crimp. Called their customer service and I was taken care of.

Junk, I've had plenty of misfires also. I think they have gotten worse over the years though. I used to like them until I started having a lots of problems. Dirty too.

I've been shooting Remington sportsman 2 3/4" # 6 this year. $10 a box and smokes the teal and killed quite a few big ducks too.

 Re: Kent shells!!
Are you getting the shells wet? I have been using Kent for 10 years without an issue. I would say they are a little dirty. I recently came to like Xperts. I bought a box of blind side to try, but watched geese take a hit and keep flying. After I shot 25 shells, my buddy handed me a box of xpert 3 1/2 1 1/4 BB. 8 shells later I had my limit of 5 geese. Maybe its the way blindside patterns out of my gun, but I will never buy another box of them.

 Re: Kent shells!!
Had that happen to me with experts! My vote for cheap are sportmans steel. Tried Heavy Metal this year and they are bad ass! But got some wet and had a bunch of those fail to fire.

 Re: Kent shells!!
Never had a problem with Kent, haven't cleaned my gun in like 2 seasons plus shooting skeet on the off season and those shells don't muck up my gun to bad at all. Just rack em thru the ole Stoeger and keep on truckin.
True dat!!

I've shot roughly 10 or so cases of Kent's over the last 3 years and haven't had a single issue. Not one.

Going on my 3rd case of kent for the year and no problems. I have had nothing but good things to say for the past 3 years shooting them.

 Re: Kent shells!!
Maybe it's your guns. I tried some fiocchi shells a while back and I had a bunch snap in my gun returned them never to shoot them again. I never had any trouble with Kent's. I'm sure I shot 15 or do cases the past years

 Re: Kent shells!!
I had problems with kent if they got wet. I usually shoot Remington sure shot with out a single issue for the last few yrs. this yr started shooting Remington nitro steel 3" 1 1/4oz #1 paired with a kicks modified and have yet to come across as deadly. It's rediculous. Not to mention several doubles and triples

 Re: Kent shells!!
1's have enough pellets in a load to have adequate coverage and with the size of the pellet they retain enough energy for some good long range shooting. I really like 1's.

Lol, that wind yesterday whipped my ass shooting 4's. Anything over 25 yards in that crosswind was a miss.
