Fuel pump problems will this work
Ok here is ma situation think it will work but not sure went hunt yesterday and got out there ran through some shtick stuff. Ok I have cdi motor with the fuel pump on the side the motor and a mikuni carb we'll the barb coming from the fuel line broke going in to the fuel pump and my hose was not long enoughy to reach the carb direct so I used a butt connector to connect the two fuel lines to get back to the landing so here is my question a while back my manifold broke and my buddy gave me one off a old motor. We'll that fuel pump on the motor has that extra hose going to the manifold but it's not connected cause the old manifold does not have that but I have a electrical fuel pump. Can I just run the fuel line direct to the carb or do i need that fuel pump On top the motor also

Re: Fuel pump problems will this work
you talk funny! It will run fine with the electric pump, but imo I would just replace the stock vacuum pump. I have no faith in the electric ones especially for a primary. Use the electric for a primer and back up.

Re: Fuel pump problems will this work
Even though it does not have the line going to the manifold the stock vacuum will still work

Y'all wouldn't happen to know what thread it is I'm. Sure it's a npt thread that way it tighten up as you screw it in but will the size of the ID of the fitting matter

Re: Fuel pump problems will this work
Yea I was thinking 1/8 cause we do a lot of 1/4 npt and that would be way to big cause a 1/4 npt is a 7/16 drill bit
