 Re: Opinions on spark plugs...
For what it is worth, I havent found a single plug out there that will last as long as what Briggs recomends (Champion RC12YC) to put in the motor.
In regards to your specific motor, being that you dont have anything advancing the spark or have increased the compression with heads decked an excessive amount or longer connecting rods (so that you have to run a higher grade of gas), I dont see any benefit at all in using anything but what Briggs recomends to put in the motor.

 Re: Opinions on spark plugs...
"Champion RC12YC" get them just about anywhere for $2 each.

 Re: Opinions on spark plugs...
Hook a blower to that sob and you can still use the Champions Plus, in my opinion they give you the best mixture reading.

 Re: Opinions on spark plugs...
I've always ran the NGK replacement plugs and never had an issue.

 Re: Opinions on spark plugs...
NGK's work fine also but why when you can run a $2 Champion, also the NGK's tend to over exaggerate the mixture to be lean.
