Bought a 1642 flat Saturday. Came with a yamaha 25. Running this set up with 3 people and a gas tank it ran 18 and just me and The tank it did 24. The put my 20 hp long tail on today and with 2 people and tank it ran 17, with me and tank it ran 19..... slight chop and windy on both days.... are these decent speeds for this set up?

Those pretty good speeds for that boat with that motor. Thought you were gettin a skiff?

I was. But after looking for a Lil while and coming up empty I just decided on this one. Plus got a pretty good deal on it too. It's everything I wanted in a skiff just no pointed nose.

Yea if it was a good deal then get it. I've been looking for a skiff for awhile and can't find one either but i'll keep looking. I got tire of messin with riveted junk boats so i can wait for one to come up

Yea I was tired of looking. It's an all welded homemade boat with front deck/dry storage and then nothing. Completely open. Extreme metal fab had a good price on a skiff just couldn't afford that and a trailer so I comprised a little and got a whole deal.

I think i would get a boat like that if the price was right. I just havent had any luck. Theres a guy on sportsman selling a skiff for 6000 for just the boat and motor. Im not expert at pricing stuff but dam thats just too much

I know the boat. I contacted him but he told me 5000. That's the one with the 35 lt? It's a good deal being it has a 35 on it but I couldn't see paying 5000 for boat and motor and still need a trailer....... I picked this rig up for 2200.

Best thing to do is click browse and then boats and look at all the boats. That's how I found this one
