Re: Kicks or Carlson's Andy Duffy, US champion shooter once told me, "Chokes mean inches, you guys are missing in feet!" So get to the range and shoot skeet in the offseason. It will improve you killing dramatically. Then once you are hitting birds and not folding them then you throw in a full choke and murdalize them birds. Choke manufactures are all about the same. Just shoot what you kill with. Plus Briley Manufacturing in Houston probably makes all chokes for production guns anyways.

Re: Kicks or Carlson's I have been shooting the original patternmaster in my SBE for probably 15 yrs. They didn't have a xtended ,long range, or none of that. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Guy @ MPW let me pattern the patternmaster& kick HF in dad and my gun. I returned the kicks & bought the patternmaster +1.

Re: Kicks or Carlson's I have shot a Patternmaster, Kicks, Wad Wizard, Terror Choke, and a Mueller. I am sticking with the Mueller Passing choke. I also have a Decoy choke for shoots I know will be close quarters.

Re: Kicks or Carlson's I shoot a WW SWAT tube almost exclusively now. My extended tubes hardly ever come out the drawer anymore.
