This might be a dumb question but does anyone know where I can hunt with a mud boat south of the lake without a lease around those areas? Bc in slidell there's big branch but it's run by the federal wildlife and of you get caught with the mud boat = no good

Think most if not all if that area over there by Delacroix is leased. Go by Biloxi marsh that is public

The pearl river wma is public but make sure u stay on la side of the river don't wonder to ms. Get online look up wma pearl river an it will show u everything that u can hunt. Jus make sure to fill out the sheet at the launch before u go out. Yeh can have mud boat

Apache had a few blocks left south of myrtle grove/pointe a la hatche. I went and checked out a couple, not the greatest. Not much to look at and quite a boat ride no matter where ya launch. Can't speak for the hunting though...
