 Redneck Decoy Company
Any of y'all ever used these or know anything about the company? Seem to be the equivalent to the wonderducks but at like a 3rd of the price almost. Just wondering if they were junk or not, the website says they offer a one year warranty on the motor if it fouls up. http://www.redneckdecoycompany.com/our-services.html

Got them in this week it took about a week to deliver and seem pretty basic. All you need is an old decoy two small motors and a D battery and you could build your own but we'll see how they do but two for the price of a wonder duck it's worth a shot

 Re: Redneck Decoy Company
I guess a ruined day is based on the hunter.
A ruined day for me is stepping into your boat at dark thirty and your wader boot catching on the front light wires and ripping them out, which shorts out your battery so your motor won't crank with the starter, and then your pull chord breaking on the second pull. Then you have to fix the chord basically in the dark because none of your lights work. And then you kill 6 ducks between 6 people and get a ticket from the GW at the end of the hunt for a minor thing because he was told to "come out and write tickets" (not saying he was wrong rules are rules, but it was a pretty petty ticket).
That to me is a ruined day.
a 30$ decoy that is supposed to splash water that messes up and doesnt work and can just be easily replaced with a jerk string in 2 minutes is no big deal and wouldn't affect the hunt one way or the other isn't a ruined day.
but once again thats just me

 Re: Redneck Decoy Company
Bummer man.
And I was kidding, just thought it was kinda funny calling it a ruined day for buying said decoy.

 Re: Redneck Decoy Company
Partner used it this morning... with no problems. Killed 9 mallard drakes and a hen over it in ND. Didn't use any wing spinners... He said ducks were not in abundance, but they were where they wanted to be... Jury's out, but leaning towards it being effective, although likely its not a gold plated duck seducer.
I'll hunt over it tomorrow. Will update then.

 Re: Redneck Decoy Company
Yep... Killed limits the last two days of mallard and pintails and a few teal. We had to work for them yesterday and had little wind and used the decoy... Seemed to work. The migration is stalled up here in ND with most of the birds still in Canada. Limits are attainable but nothing like usual for this time of year.
