Re: Crawfish cooker
A few ppl PM me about the recipe I used. So I thought I would post it. For 35-40lbs of crawfish I started both burners and add half a bag of swamp dust. After 15 mins I put the potatoes and corn in. (takes 35mins to come to a boil) When the water comes to a boil I put the crawfish and sausage in, and cook them for 5-6 mins. I then turn the burners off, and rinse the side of the pot down with water. I let them soak for 20 mins, then pour them into an ice chest. I sprinkle 1/4 of the bag of swamp dust on them and then layer an inch of Ice on them and close the lid. After the ice melts they are ready to eat!!

Re: Crawfish cooker
Nice job! Just curious.....
Have a plug to drain the water?
Do any crawfish spill while emptying into the ice chest?

Re: Crawfish cooker
The drain is in one of the pictures. And no they slide down the lid pretty easy and the 1 1/2in break on the lid keeps them from going off the sides.
