Here is my first Can ever, I had some taken around me over the years, but never got a shot at a good drake. Last year I had a group of three drakes come in, I was dicking around when the gf said look up. Picked the best one out of three, during the shot I broke one of his wings and was worried it would not be mountable. My taxi looked at it and said yeah, I can make that work in a standing. So far this is number 3 mounted and I am still amazed at how well work he does. Before left wing was broken at joint.

Pretty dang nice! Have hunted a lot down here but have only killed a couple. The drake was not as pretty as the one you killed.

Beautiful bird/mount. I shot my first drake 2yrs ago but not mounting quality. He did a great job with that bird.

Great mount. Very clean looking. Feet look very good. Most people don't take the time and effort to do them right. They could have been wrapped to the wood a little better but they are good.

Thanks guys, it's hard to tell from pics but his feet are as natural as they would be in the wild and are touching the wood, just hard to see. Guys name is Blake Wilson wings over water taxidermy, he's very specific on mounting birds in natural positions you would see in nature. His wait is long but well worth it for 285 bucks.
