Post NEED HELP MOUNTING MINN KOTA WITH LIMITED ROOM.
I have a 14ft Express with an 18hp Copperhead. I mainly use this boat for froggin and duck hunting but I'm gonna start bass fishing. I am trying to mount my minn Kota foot steering trolling motor on the bow but my light bar is in the way. There is limited room and I want to know if there are any ideas for a mount. perhaps some kind of vertical platform welded to side. Im not sure need help.

Mover your light bar to one side and you should have enough room.

Yep, mount your light bar off center and have a regular TM bracket welded on, use the MK quick release bracket and you'll be in business.

This is what i would do... pull light bar off.. get a piece of treated plywood and shoot some self tappers to hold the plywood down that would cover front seat. move light over or get a smaller light. mount TM on off set side if you wanna keep current light. then you could use that small space under plywood for a life jacket or 2. it works , ive done it
