 Owl attack!!!! While riding to our duck hunting spot Sunday morning at 3 am, an owl flew in from the left and tried to pick up my green head mojo that was riding on the front deck about one foot in front of my face. All I saw were talons extended coming trom my left and feathers. The owl hit the mojo with such force it was stunned and ended up in the water over the Starboard side. Scared the shit out of me. Don't know if it survived. My son had his spot light on from behind me so we were able to see the whole attack very clearly.

Re: Owl attack!!!! Had an owl, just as one could see in twilight right before dawn, come out of a tree to get a bait dangling on a rod sort of propped up in the middle of the boat. I did not see it till it was on us, but you could hear the sound of the wings coming in to the boat. And close enough to the water at the end to leave some "ground effect" ripples. Scared the crap out of me. As it got close it flared and sort of flapped away.
