35 MBHD on 1552 Alweld Question
Alright so I just picked up a MB 35hd for my 1542 Alweld. My question is this, I didn't think the weight would be a huge issue as I had read other posts on here of guys running similar setups, but it squats a little too low for my comfort. I'm contemplating putting some pods on the back of it, simply to help with the fact of not swamping it when I'm sitting still or idling around. Now before all the heckling starts, I'm probably going to upgrade to a "real" mud boat hull in a year or two (once the bank gets built back up lol). So that being said I'm just looking for a somewhat temp fix so I don't end up swimming back to the ramp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's a temporary fix, it'll be fine. It will likely be money wasted, as they have to be installed just right to not impede potential performance. That being said, they can help float the weight better, and get you through if you don't want to just be extra careful and save that money.
It might be better to just make sure and put all weight forward so you don't squat any lower in the rear. That boat should be wide enough to float that motor OK if your battery, fueal, and any other junk is in the front of the boat.

Re: 35 MBHD on 1552 Alweld Question
Yeah that's what I'm going to try out here this afternoon, when I ran it before battery and fuel were also on the back and myself and I'm not a small guy so I'm going to give it a shot moving everything forward. Just trying to get it through this season, I got the green light to get a prodigy built so this won't be a permanent solution to say the least.
