Air Filter for Mikuni 42

 Air Filter for Mikuni 42Lost my k&n filter off my Mikuni on the way back from the blind today. Anybody know the inside diameter of the filter? The flange on the Mikuni measures 2.75" so not sure if I should go with the 2.5" ID or the 3" ID filter. The Mikuni is on a 36 PD. Did a search but couldn't find the info. Thanks in advance.
